Castle Rock High Noon Rotary Club members distributed 190 Dictionaries to 3rd grade Douglas County students.
This month, the Castle Rock High Noon Rotary Club distributed 190 hard-cover Dictionaries to students at Larkspur Elementary, Cherry Valley Elementary, Franktown Elementary and Sedalia Elementary schools. These beautiful Dictionaries are given to each of the children as their personal book. We take for granted the impact of books and the pride that children can find in having their own book. Also, in today’s Internet world where everything can be looked up online, the art of looking up reference material and alphabetized material, a fabulous thought process and skill, can be lost with some children!
