PEACH SALES

DEADLINE

Liz is heading our peach sales efforts. Pertinent facts: Palisade free-stone peaches picked day before delivery. $40 per 18 lb box. Order deadline is tomorrow [Liz moved it up a day], August 13. Liz will be at the library tomorrow [Wednesday] evening to receive any last minutes orders. Checks only please. Delivery August 24. This is a real easy sell with profits going to our foundation. Every one can participate.

ANNUAL CLUB TRAINING

Saturday, September 21, will be the annual club training put on by our District. It will be held at Front Range Community College, 8AM to 12:30. Registration is online at the District website; Rotary5450.org. Fee is $25. This is always a very educational event with something for everyone. Special emphasis this year is on training for secretaries and treasurers. Our club allows $50 per member annually for Rotary training and conferences.

DUCKY DERBY FEEDBACK

If you have input [compliments, ideas] about how Ducky Derby went this year or suggestions for next year, please email them to Dave and Vickie. We would like to compile this information in an effort to work with the Morning Club on ways to maximize our reach into the community for the event and benefit as many people and organizations as possible. Thanks, everyone!

The club social this month will be held on Volps' back deck. 1573 Diamond Head Drive. [Turn south off Plum Creek Pkwy onto Emerald, go 200 yards and turn left onto Diamond Head Dr., we're right on the corner, look for the High Noon banner.] Hamburgers by Frazier. Club provides all the food and water. BYOB
