              District Conference
April 27
The District Conference is a one day event this year and is being held at the Arvada Event Center.
Registration is online at:  Rotary5450.org.  The District Conference is the end-of-year event where our clubs get together and celebrate our achievements.
We will have a display in the Hall of Service highlighting Steve's efforts with the Navajos.
If nothing else, you can get the feeling of just how much larger Rotary is than just what our club does.
Our club allows $50 per member per year to attend any Rotary function.  Scott, John and Joyce are attending and would love to car pool.

Transition Dinner
Denise and Mike Frasier have graciously consented to having our transition dinner at their home.  However, they will be gone the last two weeks of June.  At this point, looks like July 13 will be the date.  Still not set in stone.  Please give me feedback on this date or possible alternatives.

     Castle Rock
Spring up the Creek
Saturday May 4.   8-11:30
The town of Castle Rock is having its annual trash pick up in areas of East Plum Creek and Sellars Gulch.  Register at 8AM at Festival Park. Volunteers will be given gloves and bags.  This is great opportunity to do a quick community service project at no expense and get our name out there.  Let's wear our club shirts.
