DUCKY DERBY
STEERING COMMITTEE
Initial planning meeting is this Thursday 10/24 at the library at 6PM. Everyone is encouraged to attend so we can get the planning off to a productive start.

WORLD POLIO DAY
is this Thursday. Past District Governor Mike Oldham will be visiting our club to give us a brief update on the status of Rotary's efforts toward eradicating polio.
BOARD VACANCIES
Liz is vacating her position on our club's Board of Directors effective November 1 due to her moving.
Joyce is vacating her position on our club's Foundation Board as of December 31, also because of moving.
Please consider nominating yourself or some other lucky member. It's fun to be just a little more involved in our club.

This looks like the most likely date for our annual holiday party; BUT, we need a couple volunteers to solidify location, time, format, etc. So, c'mon party people. Put something together!
